Welcome to my website. By accessing this website or hiring my WordPress development services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Services Offered
I provide freelance WordPress website development, design, and related technical services. The specific scope, timeline, and deliverables for any project will be agreed upon in writing before work begins.
2. Payments and Deposits
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required before any project work starts.
- Milestones: Payments must be made according to the agreed-upon project milestones.
- Final Delivery: Final website files or administrative access will only be transferred once full and final payment is received.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Content: You are responsible for providing all text, images, logos, and login credentials needed for the project.
- Delays: If you delay providing necessary assets, project deadlines will be extended accordingly.
- Approvals: You have 7 business days to review deliverables and request revisions. Silence after 7 days constitutes approval.
4. Third-Party Tools, Hosting, and Domains
- Domain & Hosting: You are solely responsible for purchasing, maintaining, and paying for your own website hosting and domain name. I am not responsible for site downtime or data loss caused by your hosting provider or expired domains.
- Licenses: You are responsible for purchasing and maintaining licenses for any premium WordPress themes or plugins required for your site.
- Updates: I am not responsible for website malfunctions caused by future WordPress core updates, plugin updates, or hosting server changes after the project is completed.
5. Post-Launch Support and Maintenance
- Project Completion: My development services conclude officially upon the final delivery, launch, or transfer of the website to your control.
- Maintenance Exclusions: Ongoing website maintenance, core WordPress updates, security monitoring, plugin troubleshooting, and daily backups are not included in the initial development fee.
- Separate Agreement: Any post-launch support, technical fixes, or content updates requested after final delivery will require a separate, signed website maintenance agreement or will be billed at my current hourly consulting rate.
6. Limitation of Liability
- No Guarantees: I do not guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic volume, or sales conversions.
- Damages: I am not liable for any lost revenue, profits, data, or website downtime resulting from the use or inability to use the developed website.
7. Intellectual Property
- My Tools: I retain ownership of any pre-existing code, frameworks, or developer tools used to build your site.
- Your Site: Upon final payment, full ownership of the custom website design and content transfers completely to you.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate a project at any time with written notice. If a project is cancelled, you will be billed for all hours or milestones completed up to the date of cancellation.
